" At the treatment center, I learned that addiction itself had a specific goal. The goal of addiction “the disease” is to kill the individual in whatever possible way it can. The killing of the individual can be accomplished by the disease in so many ways. The disease might cause a person to overdose on drugs, the disease might cause the individual to get into a car wreck, the disease could even cause the person to even commit suicide."

What the hell is this, definitely not science, the only reason you used drugs is to please the pleasure center of your brain. ITS YOU, not a disease.

CommonSense,

The difference between cigarettes and street drugs is that they don't get you high. For different mental disorders alcoholics/addicts may find themselves having to take an addictive substance. The addictive substance if taken properly (the person does not get high or feel anything from it) seem to be okay "for some" people.

Lies and propaganda. LOL! There is too much information out there now for you to get away with this propaganda campaign. I laugh as I see the anti pot crowd still use the same tactics to demonize cannabis. Too many people know the truth now and your lies just undermine your position! Keep it up! LOL!

You are an alcoholic. Keep cannabis out of it!

Bahahahhaha you're blaming your alcohol addiction on pot? Get over yourself, you're an alcoholic, not a pothead.

You were an alcoholic. There's your problem, you just admitted it. Change the domain name to <a href="http://www.saynotowhiskey.com" target="_blank" / rel="nofollow">www.saynotowhiskey.com</a> and leave the harmless plant out of it.

The truth revealed! You're an alcoholic! Your story is terribly inconsistent. In part 3 you told us that you don't drink, now you're saying "well, yeah, actually, my big problem is that I'm an alcoholic." learn to proofread, man, or noone will believe your lies.

I'd say alcohol probably had more to do with why there was an intervention than anything, as if you drink, you're just sloppy. If you smoke? Life as usual, just a bit less stress.
